The manager on duty 2/24/26 was extremely helpful with getting me booked via the Stay and Park promotion. He was a lifesaver. Upon arrival I next Nick. He was very helpful in finding my me a cart for my luggage. Breakfast was good. There was a huge assortment to choose from however the attendant was kinda on the rude side. Not enough that I would give a bad review. She meant well with the information she was giving, her delivery was simply on the rude side. She seems like a nice lady but the hospitality industry has no room for rudeness when the task at hand is providing a hospitable environment. Jimmie checked me out and she’s amazing!!! She made me feel at home. Which is what the experience is all about at your home away from home while traveling! I will definitely be back. Thanks so much to the entire team for yet again another wonderful stay!
Was a very peaceful stay. Room was very clean and the bed was more comfortable than my own bed at home. They staff was very helpful and amen for the breakfast. I will be back and I am a travel pass member
I had stayed here for a business trip for a weekend, and I was just amazed with overall experience I had staying here. The rooms are nice and huge for a comfortable stay. The GM Manav, was very kind and extremely helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate my stay!
I booked via the Dayuse app just for a couple of hours to rest away from home. I'm terrible with names, but my check in date was 2/26. I got the room for 6 hours. The lady who checked me in was very nice and was a pleasure to chat with (given I really hate small talk). Talking with her was a great intro to a relaxing short stay. She provided me with a room ducked off so I could get the rest I was craving. When I checked out, the young man let me know he was new and wanted to make sure he was doing everything correctly. He made a small mistake by recharging my card, but was very apologetic and took every step to make a correction. He was very sweet and kept honest communication open with me. Received a call from the GM apologizing for the young man mistake and he assured me it was being corrected, but I didn't care for his slight negative tone about the young man making a mistake. We're all human and mistakes will be made, that's apart of the learning process and I appreciate the young man for owning up to it and working to fix it. If there is ever a need for a day getaway again, I will definitely stay here because of the front desk staff I encountered. I do hope that when I return they are there and the GM is a little nicer in regards to his staff. The room it's was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the hall was quiet.
My family stayed here to attend a medical appointment in Birmingham. The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay! Jennifer at the front desk is awesome! We felt very comfortable and had a nice quiet pair of nights. The grounds and rooms were clean. We really enjoyed the two suites we stayed in. Each came with main brand appliances, dishes, and products. Definitely will stay in Sonesta hotels again!
I loved staying here. There rooms were clean and the staff was TOTALLY AWESOME! Great attitude. Other than the breakfast needed a bit more improvement (need bothe sausage AND bacon), everything was great!
Fantastic experience at this location. Breakfast staff was amazing. Only mega I’ve was minor or would have been 5 stars all the way, and that was a lack of linen for the sofa bed. Other than that was perfect. We have found a new home for our annual trips to the Birmingham area!
We had a wonderful stay at Sonesta ES Suites Homewood! Our room was spacious, spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable with crisp linens. The staff, especially at the front desk, were so friendly and helpful, even arranging a late check-out for us. The breakfast was hot and had a fantastic variety. The location was perfect, within reasonable distance to major sights. Our only minor issue was departing so soon. Highly recommend! Great Prices! Great atmosphere!
